Dube AgriLab

Is a highly sophisticated and ultra-modern plant tissue culture laboratory whose research and development are informed by both client and industry needs. Research and development undertakings by Dube AgriLab have resulted in a number of new protocols, giving effect to an expansion of product offerings to include forestry, sub-tropical fruits, vegetables, succulents, ornamentals, and elite medicinal crops. Micro-propagation, or tissue culture, under sterile conditions, produces high-quality disease-free, true-to-type young plants at reduced costs. This is ideal for high-volume vegetative propagation, the propagation of high-value scarce and elite plants or cultivars, the development of plants that might otherwise be difficult to propagate by other means, and plants utilized for both breeding and research purposes. Strategically located immediately adjacent to King Shaka International Airport and Dube Cargo Terminal, AgriLab is perfectly positioned to serve the needs of national and international farmers, as well as professional growers.

Dube Packhouse

Is a dedicated post-harvest pack house and distribution centre, currently operated by Lebombo Finepak, who are responsible for sorting, packaging and distributing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables from the farming community around South Africa for distribution to major national retailers in the region.

iDube Cold Storage is a hi-tech multi-purpose cold storage facility located within Dube TradeZone, which forms part of Dube TradePort Special Economic Zone. It is responsible for the handling of perishable consumer products as well as weighing, sorting and re-packaging of products.
Dube AirRoad is a first and last mile, time-sensitive logistics fleet, comprising Euro 5 emission-compliant trucks - which enables customers to 'Green' their supply chains. Deliveries may be booked online and customers are able to track and trace the movement of their goods. Part of the fleet is refrigerated, ensuring that cold chain integrity for perishable goods is maintained.

On-site Pack houses are connected to each greenhouse for the use of farmers within Dube AgriZone. In addition, both Dube Packhouse and Dube Cargo Terminal are equipped with cold storage facilities with the capacity to accommodate produce requiring a range of temperatures.
